Breeders’ Cup Juvenile & Juvenile Filly Odds

2022 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile

Friday at the Breeders’ Cup focuses on two-year-olds and the horse everyone is looking forward to watching is Cave Rock. The son of Arrowgate is trained by Bob Baffert and will be ridden by Juan Hernandez.

The colt is 3 for 3 with grade 1 wins in the American Pharoah Stakes and the Del Mar Futurity. Both victories were by more than 5 lengths.  Cave Rock sits at 6/5 in the Jazzsports future book.  The second choice in wagering is stablemate National Treasure at 5/1 with a maiden victory and a second in the American Pharoah.

Todd Pletcher trainee Forte sits at +550 with 3 wins in four starts including the G1 Breeders Futurity at Keeneland less than a month ago.  Loggins was 8/1 and fourth choice in wagering but trainer Brad Cox announced he will give the colt time off and prepare for a run for the roses.

2022 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Filly

Wonder Wheel arrives as the favorite in the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Filly.

Chocolate Gelato sits at 4/1 along with And Tell me no lies.  Chocolate Gelato took the G1 Frizette at Aqueduct while And Tell Me No Lies has 3 wins including the G1 Del Mar Debutante

Leave No Trace was a winner of the G1 Spinaway and is 6/1. Highly regarded Justique is 12/1 after a dominant maiden win but was disappointing in the Chandelier.
