In HRT we bring the latest information about horse racing. Here our HRT HIGHLIGHTS #15 which summarizes the most important events that happened during the weekend. Wood Memorial
Mo Donegal took the 97th running of the Wood Memorial by making a big move turning for home and just catching Early Voting near the wire to win by a neck. The favorite, Morello stumbled coming out of the gate and finished 6th.
Blue Grass Stakes
We move to Keeneland, where Zandon came charging through the field and overcame traffic problems to win the Blue Grass Stakes by two and a half lengths under jockey Flavien Prat. Smile Happy finished 2nd after taking the lead from Emmanuel who finished third.
Santa Anita Derby
The one point seven million dollar purchase, Taiba making only his second start of his career sat third behind favorites Forbidden Kingdom and Messier and then rolled by them to win the Santa Anita Derby by 2 lengths.
Messier finished second and Happy Jack was third. Forbidden Kingdom came out of the race with an apparent injury and will miss the Kentucky Derby.
Kentucky Derby Weekly Update

Epicenter remains the favorite at 9/2, with Zandon, White Abarrio, and Mo Donegal all at 8/1.
Messier is now at 9/1 with stablemate Taiba also at 9/1.
Forbidden Kingdom and Classic Causeway have dropped out of the Derby chase
On the Distaff side, Keeneland opened up last Friday and Nest romped home on a muddy track to win by eight lengths over Cocktail Moments with Interstate Daydream finishing third.
The Santa Anita Oaks was supposed to be a coronation of highly regarded Adare Manor but after an exciting final 200 meters Desert Dawn was the winner by a neck over Adare Manor with Aint Easy 7 lengths back in third. Under the Stars stumble at the start and was never in contention.
